Students in Essay Writing II will further their understanding of essay composition, with a focus on informative expository essays and detailed persuasive essays. They will learn the essential elements of each essay type, including topic statements, supporting evidence, and clear organizational structure.

Emphasis is placed on research skills, including how to properly cite sources and incorporate facts and quotes to strengthen arguments in persuasive essays. By the end of the Essay Writing II course, students will have mastered the fundamentals of expository and persuasive essays, gained experience implementing feedback, and developed the skills needed to write clear, compelling essays independently.
