Course Objective: To provide further practice and solidification of paper writing skills at the high school level in preparation for college writing.

Course Description: : Perfect the skills needed to write an excellent academic paper: complex thesis development, introductions, drawing conclusions, research techniques, and supporting an idea with specifics from a book. Students will be expected to use proper bibliography and citation format in MLA style. Students will be asked to read the book Of Mice & Men by John Steinbeck
by the third week of class.
