Course Objective
The Introduction to Paragraphs course introduces students to the fundamentals of paragraph writing. Learners will explore how to assemble cohesive sentences around a main idea, ensuring clarity and structure. By the end of the course, students will be able to:
Write well-structured paragraphs using a clear main idea
Organize sentences effectively with the sandwich method
Use proper end punctuation and descriptive language
Develop content depth gradually across multiple paragraphs
Apply planning tools such as graphic organizers and printables
Course Description
This course is designed for students beginning their journey into paragraph writing. Through step-by-step instruction, learners will practice planning and composing paragraphs that communicate ideas clearly and cohesively. Students will use the sandwich method and simple graphic organizers to structure their writing effectively.
