Vocabulary lessons and assignments use words from the novel to strengthen comprehension and retention

Critical Thinking

Short essay assignments encourage students to apply critical thinking by connecting the text to their own experiences and perspectives.

Reading Comprehension

Comprehension quizzes and written assignments challenge students’ understanding of plot, theme, and character motivations.

Our four-week online Reading & Writing workshops help elementary, middle, and high school students improve reading comprehension, critical thinking, and writing skills. Each month, students select a novel from a curated list of engaging books, allowing them to challenge themselves or choose stories that match their personal interests.

I must say that the style, the thinking challenge in particular, is quite different from what she is used to, but is exactly what I've been looking to expose her to. I only wished I found you a few months earlier!
