Course Objective: To introduce the 8 parts of speech in English grammar and ensure students can recognize and use each independently and correctly.                   

Course Description:  Grammar I is the first in a series of three courses designed to teach or review important elements of language arts. This class will teach the 8 parts of speech so students can identify and use nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, pronouns, conjunctions, and interjections properly in a sentence. Attention will be given to capitalization, verb tense, homophones, and more!
